Das letze Logo dürfte auch Nicht-Spielsüchtigen bekannt sein. Das ATARI Logo wurde 1972 von George Opperman ersonnen und soll, bitte festhalten, ein ‘A’ wie ATARI darstellen. Total crazy! Eine zusätzliche Inspiration war jedoch ATARI’s ersten Spiel ‘Pong’. Die zwei äusseren Balken stellen die beiden Spieler dar, der mittlere den Pong-Spielplatz.
